Vacation time - to relax or getting bored?

When I was in school, I always wanted a long vacation... but now, this long summer vacation has became a headache for me. When you are habituated with overload of work and daily tasks and suddenly you get an unwanted break it harms you badly.

School and bachelor studies always have given a stress and that is the reason for long break of summer vacation, which can heal our mind from that trauma, but when I joined department of English MK Bhavnagar university, from the very first week I faced lots of tasks to complete within a week, and our professor has given only one suggestion,

“You should prepare yourself for multi-tasking”

In both the semesters we have completed so many tasks with regular lectures, daily schedule, presentations, celebration of such festivals and academic programmes, other activities, workshops and internal exams but it was full of fun, no one from us have felt stressed or tired, with the same enthusiasm we have celebrated all the functions and completed our exams.

When you have nothing to do, your mind would suck, but when you have so many tasks to do your mind would work like anything, it is helpful in studies also; we could experience the betterment in our habits of doing work. But from 26th April we all are counting the days; the whole month of May has given more heat to us than anybody else.

Obviously we all have summer vacation tasks, we have to work on our e-portfolio, and many of us have also completed basic work upon that, but though without department we cannot feel our work. I have never been such bored in my any vacation before this. From school time our teachers used to teach us that love your studies, and be serious as well as responsible about it but now I can feel the actual meaning of study and dedication.

Waiting for 20th June... to join department again.

Dedicated to all those students who do not like vacations.
